Roasted Veg and Hummus Open Sandwich – The Conscious Cafe

Ingredients

½ tsp Himalayan Salt

½ clove of garlic

½ tsp cumin

¼ cup Tahini Paste

¼ cup lemon juice

2 x Tbsp Olive oil

Method Hummus:

1. Soak 1 x cup of Raw Chick peas over night

2. Drain the water the next day and place in a pot, add more fresh water and boil for 1½ hours till chick peas are soft.

3. In a food processor blend all together.

Method:

1. Once you have made a smooth paste.

2. Then add the cooked Chick peas slowly at a time and add a little amount of water to get a beautiful smooth texture.
